Our unique scheme actively explores ways to encourage young people, whatever their background, to see themselves as future directors of stage, screen or virtual forms of story-telling.
Over the past two years Get Directing! has pioneered projects and follow-up schemes for and with young people through partnerships with three key organisations. Exciting opportunities are opening up all the time.

national saturday club
National Saturday Club gives 13–16-year-olds across the country the opportunity to study subjects they love, including Film & Screen. The model represents an exceptional opportunity to build young people’s creative skills, and concludes with Masterclasses to celebrate their members' achievements.
United Learning
United Learning is a group of more than 70 state funded schools, stretching from Cumbria to Kent, which aim to provide excellent education to over 60,000 children and young people across England.
They seek to improve the life chances of all the children and young people it serves, in line with their mission to bring out 'the best in everyone' – students, staff, parents and the wider community.

Into Film is a dynamic film focused education charity helping teachers and students to put screen storytelling at the centre of their work across schools in all four nations of the UK.
Inspiring the Future
Inspiring the Future is a careers advice charity that over the last 10 years has linked professionals from a variety of industries with schools across England and enabled over 2.5 million interactions between workplace volunteers and young people.
Future Plans
We are currently exploring links with organisations who work in Interactive Media Education – games, VR and immersive platforms.
